What is the "Crafting Your Christmas" event?
An ALL-DAY hands-on crafting and demonstration workshop designed to spark creativity and holiday cheer!
Here’s what you can expect from a typical “Crafting Your Christmas” experience:

The Main Attraction of the day: Each attendee will receive step-by-step instructions and ALL supplies needed to create FOUR Make & Take projects which include...
Make-N-Take Projects
1. Paint & decorate a cheerful Snowman door hanger with Jaime Castle from "Buckeye Personal Creations" You'll receive all the supplies you need, including paint and pre-cut wood pieces. Jaime will walk you through each step to help you create this adorable seasonal decoration.
2. Emily Timmons from "Grandma's Gardens" will guide you through the process to make a festive Sugar Cone door decoration. Using the provided materials, Emily will show you exactly how to pull it all together to create a beautiful design.
Debbie from "Oak Blossom Custom Wreaths" will be leading two of the four Make & Take projects.
3. Design a Christmas Centerpiece. You'll receive all the materials needed to bring this seasonal design to life, along with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process to craft this stunning arrangement.
4. Add a touch of seasonal cheer with a handcrafted tabletop sign featuring a festive Christmas tree design. It’s the perfect accent for your holiday decor—or a heartfelt handmade gift!

Meet Emily Timmons—a proud mom to her adorable son, and a key figure at Grandma’s Gardens, where she’s been a vital part of the team for several years. This award-winning garden center spans 14 acres of paved paths, stunning display gardens, a charming gift shop, and endless inspiration. Emily wears many hats—from landscape designer to gift shop curator—and brings creativity, expertise, and heart to everything she does. We’re thrilled to have her as one of our event instructors.
Debbie Agnew is the owner, designer, and lead instructor at Oak Blossom Custom Wreaths—and your host for the day. With over 30 years of experience in the floral design industry, Debbie brings a wealth of creativity and expertise to every arrangement she touches. Her stunning faux floral designs are sold both locally and nationwide through her Etsy shop, and she’s passionate about sharing her craft through online and in-person workshops. As one of our featured instructors and demonstrators, Debbie is here to inspire and guide you through the art of floral design. You may even recognize her from Living Dayton, where she’s been showcased as a guest designer on the popular WDTN lifestyle program.
We’re delighted to share that a surprise guest designer from Centerville Florists will be joining us at the event. As a beloved, family-owned business serving the Centerville and Dayton area for over 50 years, Centerville Florists is known for crafting exquisite floral arrangements and thoughtful gifts, all delivered with warm, prompt service. Their team takes pride in going the extra mile to ensure every customer’s experience is exceptional. We’re honored to welcome their talent to our event for a special touch of floral magic!
Sheila Baker, the culinary artist behind Sweet Sheila's N Such, is truly the master of her kitchen. What began as a seasonal venture offering holiday candies and baked treats has blossomed into a thriving weekly meal service, where customers pick up delicious, home-cooked dishes straight from Sheila’s beautifully styled home—a reflection of her other passion: design and creative décor. We are so thrilled to have Sheila providing lunch for us. Her food is not only made with love, but it’s also a testament to her talent and dedication. We couldn’t be happier to share in the warmth and flavor she brings to every bite.
Meet Jaime Castle—the creative force behind Buckeye Personal Creations and proud mom of six! Her journey into entrepreneurship began nine years ago, driven by a desire to balance work with the joyful chaos of family life. Her business not only gives her the flexibility she needs, but also allows her to share her artistic passion with others. Jaime sells her custom designs through Facebook, and she especially loves teaching others to paint—helping them discover the same sense of pride and accomplishment she feels when she creates. We’re thrilled to have Jaime as one of our event instructors.
